David Allen Showman Sr., 83, of Eldon, IA passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 at his home in Eldon under the care of the Good Samaritan Society Hospice- Ottumwa.  Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13 at the Living Hope Bible Church in Eldon, IA with Pastor Mark Clark officiating.  Burial with military honors will be held in the Eldon Cemetery immediately following the service.  Memorial contributions in David’s honor may be directed to G.A.T.E. to support the fishing spot project along the river and may be mailed to P.O.
