EV and Keota Open Up at IMS Early Bird

The English Valleys and Keota cross country squads each got their seasons underway last Tuesday at the IMS Early Bird at Iowa Mennonite Schools. Four EV girls and two EV boys took their first competitive strides of the season toward their missions of being at their peak come late October.

Sophomore Hannah Greene came in with the best time of any Bears, crossing the tape at 20:43. Next in line for the EV girls was senior Abby Westhoff, who came in at 21:18. Taylor Gerard and Breann Coffman finished up at 22:02 and 23:14, respectively.

For the EV boys, senior Luke Jackson clocked in at 23:45 and Braydon Fisher was close behind, finishing up with a time of 23:49.
