Four quarters of great play propel Trojans over Colfax-Mingo in crossover boys action

THORNBURG-The Trojans put a complete four quarters of good basketball together of Friday, Feb. 10 when they hosted Colfax-Mingo in their crossover game with the West division of the SICL, and TC and C-M played a hard-fought, close contest that remained tight throughout.

            The Trojans jumped out to a slim 14-10 lead after a quarter of play, and a 28-21 halftime lead, as they played very good offensively again in the first half as they had on Monday against HLV. They played just as well in the second half offensively and held off a late C-M run to come away with a hard-fought 57-52 home victory. Another key factor in the Trojans victory was their improved percentage from the line, as they knocked down 16 of 32 foul line attempts at a 20 percent uptick from their HLV contest Monday.
