Gary Wayne Schmelzer Obituary
KINROSS-Gary Wayne Schmelzer, age 58 of Kinross, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Gary was born Oct. 7, 1957, in Iowa City, to Gary D. and Barbara (Ricketts) Schmelzer. He graduated from Iowa City West High School in 1975, where he was a pitcher on the baseball team and played for the Jr. American Legion Baseball in Iowa City.
