Individual Speech returns to Tri-County

            For the second year consecutively, Tri-County School District hosted the Individual Speech Contest on Saturday, Feb. 24, welcoming hundreds of guests as students from across southeast Iowa performed to get their ticket punched to the State Individual Speech Contest.

            Among the nearly half dozen schools in attendance where English Valleys, Pekin and host Tri-County, who combined will send 24 performances to State Speech on Saturday, March 10 at Cedar Rapids Kennedy. To achieve this honor, students must attain a Division I rating from their judge to move onto the next level.
