Keswick, Iowa- A Keswick man is facing serious charges after being arrested for allegedly molesting a child he was babysitting. William Mann, 33, was arrested on January 30 after a January 26 incident involving a female child under the age of 12.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Keokuk County District Court by Deputy Sheriff Adam Pence, Mann was babysitting the child and her siblings on Saturday, January 26.

“The child stated she was sitting in the kitchen at the kitchen table when the defendant unbuttoned her jeans and stuck his hand underneath her jeans and underwear,” Pence wrote in the criminal complaint

The complaint alleges that Mann then went on to molest the child, who told Mann to stop and ran to another room of the house. The complaint alleges that Mann followed the child and again molested her again.
