Kiwanis Club of Sigourney update

            The Kiwanis Club of Sigourney’s fiscal year ended Sept 30^th under the leadership of Ken Bucklin (President), Gary Bontrager (President Elect), Jan Parcell (Secretary), Danny Vail (Treasurer), and Jill Sande (Key Club Sponsor). Kiwanis have raised and donated over $2000 to various youth/community projects such as Town Square Park, Bike Helmets for the KC Ambulance, Special Olympics, purchase of an instrument for the Sigourney HS band, purchased Silver Cords for the Sigourney HS, donated to the Sigourney High School Drama Department, Eliminate Project (in conjunction with UNICEF to eliminate maternal and neo-natal tetanus), fireworks, Sigourney Jr/Sr High School track, City of Sigourney practice (soccer and flag football) fields, Sigourney Ball, Cub Scouts, Sigourney High School Scholarship, donated to the 4^th of July celebration, Sigourney Pride, Sigourney After Prom, and many, many more.
