McGuire receives Patriot Award Certificate of Appreciation

            When Andrew McGuire, Keokuk County Engineer, attended the Employer Appreciation Day with Sgt. Mike Silvers, he had no idea that he would be nominated for an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) award. McGuire learned a lot that day about ESGR and what they do for our troops and their families. Like most, McGuire was unaware of ESGR and their services. With his new knowledge he attended a meeting with other county engineers and suggested having ESGR do a presentation about their services to the men and women who protect our country and their families.
