Nellie Viola Jones passed away on February 21, 2019 at Manor House Care Center, Sigourney IA. She was born on May 20, 1923 near Centralia, Missouri to Arthur and Nellie McConaughey.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 10:30 AM in the Fremont Funeral Chapel in Fremont with Pastor Jim Eschenbrenner officiating. Burial ocurred in the Mt Zion Cemetery in Martinsburg. Fremont Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Keokuk County Hospice and Multiple Sclerosis Foundation NMSS Valley Chapter.
