Panthers Split with Columbus and Highland

A tough matchup on Friday at Highland made last Tuesday home game against Columbus all the more important for the Pekin boys. Knowing it was a game they needed to (and should) win, the Panthers came out full throttle and blew away the Wildcats, 77-50.

                “We shot the ball well on Tuesday,” said Pekin head coach Ken Hutchinson. “We’re starting to understand the importance of being able to run the court, but pulling it back out when the break isn’t there.”
