Pressure-Packed Week for Keota Boys

A crucial stretch of games, coupled with three painstakingly narrow results, made for one hectic week of basketball for the Keota varsity boys.

                The team welcomed back the return of Zach Mousel last Monday at BGM and won a triple-overtime thriller to start the week. Mousel’s 16 point helped the Eagles get their sixth win of the year, 57-52.

                Keota fell behind early and went into the locker room trailing 20-9 at the half. The Eagles cranked up their intensity in the second half, though, and cut BGM’s lead to five after three quarters, before tying it at 35 at the end of regulation.
