Several XC athletes named First, Second All-Conference

Three area boys were named First-Team All-Conference following their performances at the SICL meet on October 11. One other boy was named Second-Team and one girl was named an honorable mention.

Mason Moore: Moore had a dominant season for the Savages XC program, including his best finish of the season at the SICL meet. There he took first after running a time of 17:49.2 and followed that up by qualifying for State as only a sophomore. He was the first boy in several years to finish off his season at Fort Dodge, where he placed 86th with a time of 18:19.8.
