Sigourney Bounces Back From Second Loss

                Whether or not the fact that Sigourney lost at BGM is surprising, is debatable. However, what is surprising is the way it happened.

                The Savages entered last Tuesday’s game in Brooklyn with just one loss on the season, which made their 68-45 loss to the Bears (7-7) somewhat baffling.

                Sigourney (11-2) trailed by just two points after the first quarter, but lost touch with BGM in the second. The major turning point occurred with the Savages trailing by six points, when Blaine Gretter picked up his fourth foul (a technical), forcing him to sit out for the rest of the first half and much of the second. When Gretter returned to the floor late in the third quarter, Sigourney trailed by 30, and the game was out of reach.
