Sigourney-Keota bowling honors seniors

The SK bowling squad is having a good season, a big part of which has come from their seniors. The trio of Ben Shemanski, Parker Stevens and Tanner Halleran were all given special recognition on January 13, for senior recognition day.

Halleran led the Cobras with a combined score of 373 in his two individual games, while Shemanski had 315 and Stevens had 307. Halleran also bowled over a 200 in his second game, finishing with a score of 211.

Holden Hoffman bowled a 336, Nathan Morris bowled a 297 and Skyler Clubb finished with a 210. In the baker games, the Cobras started out decently and got better, the third game being their best score of 214, before slightly falling a bit.

In total, the Cobras wound up with a score of 2565, which placed them in first place over Davis County (2376), Centerville (1965) and Isaac Newton (1555). SK traveled to Washington on January 17 for their next meet, hoping to sweep the Demons as they had beat them to open up the season at home.
