Sigourney runs their record to 12-0 after big road victory at Albia Saturday

ALBIA- The Lady Savages kept the good times rolling on Saturday as the topped Albia 51-33. Sigourney jumped out early in this one yet again, and were able to really decide the outcome in virtually the first half. They jumped out to a 16-4 first quarter lead, and were up 26-10 at the half, before Albia was able to hold Sigourney to a 25-23 scoring difference in the second half. The Lady Savages move to 11-0 on the season with the win remaining undefeated on the season.

            Sigourney was led in scoring by Autum Barthelman who had 18 points. Barthelman added five assists and eight steals. Leah Carter had seven points, four rebounds and two assists on the evening for Sigourney. Anna Ohland was terrific inside, having 12 points and eight rebounds, also causing two steals. Brooke Waechter had eight points and four assists against Albia, while Megan Stuhr had six points, eight rebounds and two steals off of the bench.
