SOLDIERS RECEIVE FREE ADMISSION TO PROFESSIONAL BULL RIDERS EVENT AT WELLS FARGO ARENA

400 Tickets Will Be Given Away Friday, April 25 To The Military Zone Sponsored By Monsanto

Des Moines, IA - April 23, 2014 – Members of the Armed Forces will enjoy free tickets to the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) event at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines this weekend. The tickets are located in a special Military Zone seating section, sponsored by Monsanto.

The Military Zone sponsorship is a new partnership between PBR and Monsanto. The program offers 400 tickets to American servicemen and women. The tickets are located in lower level seating with a view facing the chutes of the PBR Built Ford Tough Series.

"Monsanto is proud to provide a fun evening for local members of the military," said Angela Allen, Customer Advocacy Manager at Monsanto. "This partnership with PBR and Global Spectrum is just one small way we can recognize their dedication and thank them for serving our country."

WHO Radio will be giving away the free Military Zone tickets during a live broadcast from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Friday at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center, 833 5th Ave. in Des Moines. The first 200 individuals to show their military ID will receive two tickets to Saturday’s or Sunday’s PBR event. PBR rider Brady Sims will also be in attendance.

In addition to Military Zone seating, two soldiers will receive Monsanto-sponsored tickets to PBR’s Shark Cage seating. The Shark Cage provides an up-close view of events in a protected steel cage located on the floor of the arena. Shark Cage tickets will also be given away at WHO Radio’s live broadcast on Friday.

"Monsanto's sponsorship of the Military Zone at this weekend's PBR event is a testament to our shared commitment to those who serve in our Armed Forces," said Global Spectrum's Chris Connolly, General Manager of the Iowa Events Center. "Global Spectrum and PBR appreciate the generosity of our partner Monsanto, for providing a way for our servicemen and women, and their families, to enjoy a great event at Wells Fargo Arena."

The PBR Built Ford Tough Series starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday and 2:45 p.m. on Sunday at the Wells Fargo Arena. Tickets are still available through dahlstickets.com, calling 866-55-DAHLS, or by visiting the Wells Fargo Arena Box Office.
