   Stanley T. “Stan The Man” Schmidt, Sr., 89, of Rock Island, Illinois, died on Friday, November 10, 2017, following a brief illness.

   Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 16, at the Wheelen-Presley Funeral Home and Crematory in Rock Island, Illinois by Father Charles Fladung of St. Mary Catholic Church, Sigourney. A private family burial was held on Friday, November 17.
