Supervisors begin New Year

The Keokuk County Supervisors held their second meeting of the New Year, working primarily on items relating to the Keokuk County Highway Department. County Engineer Andy McGuire presented five items to the Board for their consideration.

The board first approved a resolution designating McGuire to act on behalf of the county for Farm to Market projects. The board next approved a resolution naming county employees allowed to issue and sign special permits for vehicles of excessive size and weight. Next, the board approved a resolution naming county employees allowed to handle temporary closings of roadways.
