Texting - Is It Worth The Price?

A scene like the one that unfolded at English Valleys High School on last Tuesday seems inconceivable to most teenagers, until it actually happens. With the purpose of creating a life-like image of the consequences that surround the act of texting and driving, the school, along with the help of emergency-response crews from Keokuk and Iowa County, put together the 2014 Journey Unknown on April 1.

 

The series of dramatized mock scenes began with an eye-opening rescue by the North English and North Keokuk County Fire Departments of four EV students involved in a two-car accident.
