Three Wins in Five Days for Keota Girls

After starting the season with two wins and two losses, the Keota varsity girls’ basketball team wanted nothing more than to have a great week. The Eagles did just that, winning all three of their games and upping their record to 5-2 on the young season.

            The team began its perfect week at home last Tuesday, against a good Montezuma squad.

            A slight advantage was held by Keota throughout the first half, in the low-scoring affair. The Eagles took their 18-16 halftime lead into the second half and, slowly but surely, built onto it.
