Tough Schedule Equals Tough Results for Keota

Three games against three of the South Iowa Cedar League’s better teams made for a treacherous week for the Keota girls’ basketball team.

                Coming off of an eight-point loss to unbeaten Lynnville-Sully, the Eagles started their week against BGM – one of the top teams in the SICL.

                Keota’s defense found that stopping both Jolissa Kriegel and Kayleen Beck was next to impossible. Kriegel finished with 18 points and 17 rebounds, while Beck scored 16 points, in BGM’s 53-50 defeat of Keota.
