Trojans fight hard at SICL Conference Meet

MARENGO- The boys and girls of Tri-County fought extremely hard at Iowa Valley High School on Tuesday, May 2 when they competed in the 2017 SICL Conference Meet.

            Beginning with the boys, Tri-Co finished in 12th place on the day scoring seven total team points. They fell to the rest of the conference on the day as a whole, but there were a lot of individual performances that were to be applauded.

            Noah McCammant and Grant Rauhauser took 22nd and 23rd respectively in the 100-meter dash, while Aydan Bos finished 11th in the 200 and Tanner Lundy 23rd. In the 400-meter dash, Brandt Molyneux finished 17th with a time of 1:06.78 and Jakoby Williams 20th with a time of 1:15.28.

            In the distance events, Tri-Co saw some improved times from Braydon Clubb in the 800 as well as Warren Williams.

            The discus saw Dylan Seaton finish in 13th and teammate Lane Williams in 15th. Seaton took 17th in the shot put with a throw if 33’0.25’’, while teammate Zach Bolinger took home 18th.
