Voters will determine school levy, races

Absentee numbers are up for the Sigourney Community School District, a factor that could help shape what is looking to be an interesting election for the area. 

“The absentee ballot count to date for Sigourney School District is 56,” said Keokuk Auditor Christy Bates.

The figure is a “high” one, Bates noted.

 In addition, other factors could play a role in driving the election.
