Young Panthers Mystified by Reza the Illusionist

Fairfield- Reza Borchardt dazzled and bewildered those in attendance at the Fairfield Convention Center on March 8 as part of his Edge of Illusion Tour. Some Pekin students got the opportunity to see a matinee of his show earlier in the day. Third and fourth grade students were in awe as Borchardt performed magic beyond card tricks and slight of hand tricks. 

“Many of them commented the show was very cool and a lot of fun. Of course, they were in wonder of how certain illusions were done,” Pekin Elementary Principal Kim Ledger said. “Some commented that they had plans to attend the evening show with their families and were anxious to come back.”

Support from Pekin’s PTO allowed the young Panthers an experience of a lifetime.
