Athlete of the Week: Billie Kindred

Keota senior basketball player Billie Kindred has been named the Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 9.

Although the Keota basketball schedule was interrupted by weather, Kindred still had an impressive showing in the one game the Eagles played in. During a Tuesday night game Kindred was able to score 28 points. He also brought in 14 rebounds for another double-double on the season. 

In addition to his points scored and the rebounds, Kindred also had four steals and four assists helping lead the Eagles to a victory over English Valleys. Keota’s second game of the week was postponed due to icy weather.
