Athlete of the Week: Chase Clarahan

The athlete of the week for the week of July 8 is Chase Clarahan of the Sigourney Savages baseball team.

Clarahan clobbered his first home run of the season in the win over Lone Tree. Not just any homer either, he smacked a grand slam.

Clarahan also came in to close the two playoff games for the Savages. In the win over BGM, Clarahan pitched one and two-thirds innings in which he gave up no hits and struck out one batter.
