Bears Bested by Wolves

NORTH ENGLISH—On September 27, the English Valleys Bears hosted Winfield-Mt Union Wolves for their homecoming matchup. The Wolves bested the Bears by a final score of 60-18.

The Bears quickly jumped to a 12-8 lead after the first quarter of play, but the avalanche of points came for the Wolves.

They went on to out-score the Bears 30-0 in the second and third quarter. By the time The Bears added another touchdown, the Wolves had already started to run away with the game.

The Wolves added 22 more points in the fourth en route to the 60-18 victory.

The Bears fall to 1-4 on the season, and will return to action on October 4, when they visit the Colo-Nesco Royals.
