KEOTA – Luke Hammen’s lay-up with one second remaining gave Keota their fourteenth win on the season.

“We had the last possession and scored, I didn’t call a timeout for a reason, I got five seniors on the floor and I wanted them to take care of business,” Coach Stout said of the last possession.

Sam Sieren shot 100% from the field, scoring four field goals and two 3-point baskets to get the Eagles soaring early.

“Sam Sieren played awesome in the first quarter, and knocked down two 3-point baskets. They were playing a triangle and 2 on Luke (Hammen) and Carson (Sprouse) and he (Sieren) took them out of it,” Coach Stout said of his senior guard.

With a 14-1 record, Stout has lots of positives but he would like to see his team limit turnovers.

“We turned the ball over way too much tonight (16 times), that gives possessions away.”
