English Valleys Football Falls to Iowa Valley

MARENGO—On September 20, the English Valleys Bears made the trip to Marengo for a matchup against Iowa Valleys. The Bears fell to the Tigers by a final score of 70-16.

The Bears had the tough task of trying to limit one of the most explosive players in Eight Man:Nolan Kreigle.

Kreigle had himself a night with 124 passing yards and three touchdowns, as well as 101 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown.

The Bears offense had a bright spot in freshman Braydon Anderson. Anderson finished his night with 63 rushing yards on five carries, one of those carries went for a 45 yard touchdown.

The Bears fall to 1-3 on the season, and will return to action on September 27, when they host the Winfield-Mt Union Wolves.
