NEW SHARON—The English Valleys girls golf team made the trip up to New Sharon for a golf triangular with North Mahaska and Lynnville-Sully. The English Valleys girls did not yield a team score with only three golfers.
Nicole Murphy finished her day with 53, which placed her as the runner-up with the second lowest score.
Jaidyn Rugg continued her good start to the year with a third place finish with a score of 54.
The English Valleys girls golf team has a quick turnaround, as they host a quad with Des Moines Christian, Highland and Lone Tree on April 12.
