English Valleys Support
When English Valley’s put out a call for water bottles, they didn't need to wait long to have the donations
start rolling in! According to Amy Andreassen, English Valleys Elementary Principal, the school currently
has the water fountains in the building turned off as part of their COVID mitigation strategies. Students are
expected to provide their own water bottles from home. Andreassen went on to say, Most of our students
bring refillable water bottles from home but when working with children, it's important to have a Plan B if
the bottles are lost or forgotten at home. We've been so blessed by our community generosity in the past,
we knew we could count on them again as our bottled water inventory started to diminish. Within a few
hours, we had over a pallet of bottled water donated to each building! It truly takes a village to raise a child
and we have a great support system in place.
