This notice is an attempt to clarify confusion regarding absentee ballot request forms.

There are a number of know entities (Secretary of State’s Office, Republican and Democratic parties, Center for Voter Information, Trump Campaign and Voter Participation Center) that have mailed absentee request forms out to voters. These are all valid forms.

Some voters are receiving more than one request, of which there within lies the confusion. The Auditor’s office e only needs one (1) request per voter. Please dispose of all other requests; do not mail them in. You may contact the Keokuk County Auditor’s Office at 64-622-2320 to verify receipt of request.

Be assured the Keokuk County Auditor’s Office does not send out a form unless an individually specifically requests one.
