Keota’s Aidan Anderson Earns All-District Second Team Honors

Keota senior Aidan Anderson capped off his career as an Eagle with a selection to the Class 1A Southeast second All-District team as a pitcher.

Anderson finished up his year from the mound with 63.2 innings pitched, an ERA of 1.98 and 64 strikeouts. He was one strikeout shy of tying his career mark for punchouts in a season. From the plate, Anderson had a batting average of 0.338 and 19 runs batted in. These were both career highs for Anderson. 

Anderson led the conference in innings pitched, and went the whole year without hitting a batter. He also finished with the fourth lowest walks and hits per innings pitched in the conference at 1.04. 

He finished his career with the Eagles on a high note, as he earned a selection to the Class 1A Southeast second All-District team.
