Keota Wins Sigourney’s Home Golf Quadrangular with North Mahaska and Montezuma

SIGOURENY—On April 15, the Sigourney Savages hosted the Keota Eagles, the North Mahaska Warhawks and the Montezuma Braces for a SICL quad. The Eagles finished with the low team score of 161, while the Savages were right behind in second with a 164.

The Eagles were led by the Kindred brothers. Billie and Cole Kindred both tallied low scores for the team with 39s on the day. Sawyer Stout wrapped up his round with a 41, while Brennan McGuire tallied a 42. 

For the Savages, Solon Yates continues his hot start to the season, as he shot a 37 for the runner-up position. Freshman Ike Molyneux finished with a 41, while senior Brock Alderson was right behind with a 42. Isaac Bruns secured the final score for the Savages with a 44 on the day.

The Savages will return to action on April 19, when they host their 18 hole invitational. 

The Eagles return to action on April 23, when they host English Valleys and Hillcrest Academy for a triangular.
