SIGOURNEY – Keota jumped out to a 15-4 lead over Keota at the end of the first period which set the offensive tone for the remainder of the game for the Eagles.

“We played hard but we couldn't score and I just thought offensively just they made shots and we didn't. We didn’t take care of the ball in the first half very well. And I thought defensively, we played pretty well. Just couldn't put the ball in the hoop, unfortunately,” Sigourney Coach Eslick said of the performance.

Keota led 28-12 at halftime and 39-22 after the third period.

Luke Hammen and Sam Sieren each had double digit scoring nights for the Eagles, scoring 17 and 13 respectively, while Ethan Shifflett led the way for Sigourney with 10. Sigourney senior Brock Halleran had 12 rebounds and two blocks on the night.
