Local Eight Man Players Make All-District 4 Teams

Beau Flander of English Valleys was named to the First Team Offense. This season, Flander rushed for 1593 yards on 160 carries, scoring 26 touchdowns with his longest rush being 75 yards. He also had 48.5 total tackles, 39 of those solo tackles and seven tackles for loss. Additionally, he recovered two fumbles, taking one 48 yards for a touchdown. Flander also had two interceptions, with one going back for a touchdown and one punt return for a touchdown.

 

Ashton Moore, Brayden Mikesell, Kaden Hall and Luke Dillon made the First Team Defense team for English Valleys.

 

Moore led the Bears in sacks with eight of the team’s 28 total on the season and he had 13 tackles for loss. He had 32.5 total tackles, with 21 of those being solo tackles.

 

Mikesell led the team in total tackles with 60.5 tackles, with 41 of those being individual tackles. He also had seven tackles for loss and a sack. Additionally, he had 148 rushing yards on 12 attempts, with a long rush of 69 yards. He also had 21 receptions for 408 yards and six touchdowns.

 

Hall had 11 of the teams 23 receiving touchdowns, on 32 receptions to go along with 797 yards. He also had 50 tackles, one fumble recovery and a team high four interceptions. He also punted 11 times for 345 yards.

 

Dillon had 12 tackles for loss, three sacks and 44.5 total tackles this season. Dillon also recovered a fumble.

 

Cole Stephenson of English Valleys was the quarterback for the Second Team Offense. Stephenson went 60/122 for 1292 yards, including a 22 touchdown to 8 interception ratio.

 

Raif Axmear and Kaden Kubas represented English Valleys on the Second Team Defense, and Dylan Icenbice and Dayton Pace (punter) made the Second Team Defense for Tri-County.

 

Axmear had 41 total tackles this season, including seven sacks, a fumble recovery and 11 tackles for loss.

 

Kubas handled kickoff duties for the Bears. He also had five touchdowns on seven receptions this season. He finished the season with 29.5 total tackles (20 solo), seven sacks and 13 tackles for loss.

 

Icenbice had a team high 49.5 total tackles (41 solo) for the Trojans this fall including an interception.
