Marilyn Janet Kness

Marilyn Janet Kness, age 85, of Albia passed away on Jan. 5, 2020 at the Monroe County Hospital, under the care of EveryStep Hospice. 

A time of remembrance was held on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, opening to public at 1 p.m., with family present from 6-8 p.m., Thursday evening at Sinnott Funeral Home in Albia. Celebration of Life Services was held at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 10, 2020 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Albia with Pastor Roger Henry officiating. A funeral luncheon followed services with inurnment following in Friends Cemetery in New Sharon. Memorials may left for the family, and will be directed at a later date.
