SIGOURNEY – Mason Clarahan of Harper was named Keokuk County Expo Queen. Clarahan is the daughter of Todd and Rebbecca Clarahan, Annie and Aaron Burrow. She graduated from Sigourney this year and plans to study Agronomy at Iowa State University. Clarahan was a member of Lafayette Feeders 4-H, Sigourney FFA, student council, county council and class cabinet. She participated in volleyball, basketball, track, color guard, drama and speech. During the contest, when asked to describe herself in one word, she said “Outgoing” because she loves meeting new people and having new experiences.

“It’s such a terrific honor to earn this title,” said Clarahan. “The state fair is an extremely busy time and the queen contest goes on during the FFA show. I know that all the queens really get to bond and stuff, so I’m super excited for it.”

Abigail Harris was named the first-runner up. Reagan Clarahan was named second-runner up and Miss Congeniality.
