Melcher-Dallas Outlasts Tri-County

THORNBURG – Two Saints had double-doubles in their 62-45 win over Tri-County on Feb. 1.

 

Saint sophomore Owen Suntken had 17 points and 14 rebounds and senior Saint Lane VanderLinden had 10 points and 11 steals.

 

Melcher-Dallas had the advantage every quarter, leading 18-7 after the first quarter, 34-19 at half and 52-31 after the third quarter.

 

Leading the way for the Trojans were Dylan Icenbice (who had 16 points) and David Gillam with 11. 

 

Dayton Pace went to work on the board for the Trojans as he had a team high 10 rebounds.

 

Tri-County played at Belle Plaine on Feb. 2 and lost 65-37 to the Plainsmen for the second time this season.
