Nadyne Roland

Nadyne Roland, 87 of What Cheer, died Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at the Manor House in Sigourney. A memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in What Cheer.  Burial will be held privately in the McFarlan Cemetery at What Cheer. In lieu of flowers may be made to the Manor House in Sigourney or the American Cancer Society.

Donna Nadyne Roland was born in Rose Hill on April 19, 1933, the daughter of Harry and Maude Currier Wymore. She was united in marriage to Donald Eugene Roland on Feb. 20, 1951 in Waukegan, Ill. Nadyne was a 1952 graduate of Rose Hill High School. She was a member of What Cheer United Methodist Church, PEO, Lidia Circle and Traveling Chief. Nadyne enjoyed tending to her flowers and above all spending time with her grandchildren.

Nadyne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Roland; and a brother, Aubrey Wymore.

She is survived by two sons: Steve (Cindy) Roland and Bryan (Julie) Roland; two brothers: Neal and Bob Wymore; three sisters: Madeline Sypherd, Betty Currier, and Wanda Hickson; her six grandchildren: Ryan Roland, Richard (Ashley) Wallace, Aaron Roland, Andrew (Tamara) Roland, Dana (Mike Diaz) Wallace, Mathew (Shelby) Roland. Nadyne also leaves behind six great grandchildren: Ryan Jr. Roland, Skylar Roland, Dane Wallace, Ruby Diaz, Oliver Diaz, and David Roland.
