NORTH ENGLISH – The wins are starting to stack up for the Bears.
A little bit of hibernation over the holiday break didn’t seem to slow down English Valleys too much as they started off the second month of the season with back-to-back wins.

In that game the Bears trailed by four after the first quarter, but a 13-point second quarter helped give them the lead.

Kailor Lown scored four points. Both Aubrey Achenbach and Kaylynn Caster finished with two points each.
On Saturday the Bears traveled south to play Danville in an out-of-conference game. In that contest English Valleys had doubled up Danville 32-16 at halftime.
Although the Danville Bears scored 19 points in the second half, the English Valleys Bears were able to score 22 points to secure the lead.
