DELTA – After the Delta Days parade, Hearts and Hands Quilters presented Quilts of Valor to several local veterans, to thank them for their service. Veterans receiving quilts included:
Lance Corporal Don Borts (Marine Corps, 1958-1961)
Specialist Robert C. Pfannebecker (Army, 1966-1968)
Specialist Michael A. Williams (Army, 1970-1971)
Captain Heather Renee Fischer (Army, 1990-2020)
Lieutenant Colonel Steven G. Fischer (Army/Army National Guard/Army Reserves, 1998-present)
