Rexiene Idell Beasley, 93
Rexiene Idell Beasley, 93, of New Windsor, IL, left us peacefully on December 23, surrounded by family. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Rexiene will always be remembered for her kindness and willingness to help those who needed a shoulder or a hug.
Born on October 23, 1931, in Keswick, Iowa, Rexiene grew up the only daughter of Clarence and Oma Bowman and sister to Rex and F.E.
On June 9, 1951, Rexiene married the love of her life, Herb Beasley. The two shared a romance that lasted nearly 40 years and yielded two children, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A proud mother and housewife, Rexiene devoted her life to her family and loved them generously.
Rexiene was quite an equestrian in her early years with her beloved horse, Tony. Early in her marriage she worked for several years with her husband helping to finish houses he built. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who loved generously and a constant source of strength.
Rexiene is survived by her son, Ron Beasley (Mary) and daughter, Connie Jayne (Bob), as well as her grandchildren, Jesse Jayne and Jen Jayne; two great-grandchildren, Derek Jayne and Alexis Jayne along with her step-son Eugene Beasley (Peggy) and step-grandchildren Kirk, Gina and Ginger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herb, as well as her parents and her two brothers. A service to celebrate Rexiene’s life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boyer Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Boyer Cremation Services.
