Santa’s Workshop at Pekin

Santa's Elves arrived at Pekin Elementary School on Friday, Dec. 4. Each year parents and community members donate items to the school for the kids to do their Christmas shopping. This year, the elves set up Santa's Workshop in an unused classroom away from the students. Each child was given a card and each item was given a number. They set out examples of what the kids could order for that special someone on their shopping list.  The kids then made their shopping list based on the items on the tables. Santa's Elves then filled each child's order and delivered the Christmas gifts wrapped and tagged.
