Sigourney-Keota Bowlers Take on Knoxville


Dana O’Neill, the lone senior on the Sigourney-Keota bowling team, is celebrated on her Senior Day at the Keokuk County Bowl

On Saturday, Jan. 9, the Cobras took on Knoxville and Issac Newton Christian Academy on Senior Day. 

 

Lily Van Voltenburg bowled a 107 & 87 for a 194 series. 

Kaylee Visser bowled a 94 & 88 for a 182 series. 

Emma Seifert bowled a  118 & 82 for a 200 series. 

Dana O’Neill bowled a 116 & 81 for a 197 series. 

Sam Bombei bowled a 178 & 118 for a 296 series.

Hanna Alderson bowled a 187 & 167 for a 354 (high overall series for the girls and high overall game for the girls with her 187)

 

The girls bowled a total of 1,750 falling to Knoxville who had a total of 1,798. 

 

Jordan Shadley bowled a 120 & 128 for a 248 series. 

Drew Dobbins bowled a 107 & 141 for a 248 series. 

Ty Krueger bowled a 141 & 115 for a 256 series. 

Gable Goff bowled a 123 & 137 for 260 series. 

Corral Freel bowled a 133 & 131 for a 264 series. 

Brock Alderson bowled a 210 & 176 for a 386 series. 

 

The boys bowled a total of 2,107 beating Isaac Newton Christian Academy’s total of 1,737 but fell short of Knoxville’s total of 2,280 

 

Sam Bombei took 2nd high series for the girls and Hannah Alderson took high game and series for the girls.  

 

Brock Alderson took high game and series for the boys.
