Sigourney-Keota sweeps opponents

SIGOURNEY - Senior night was a special one.
Not only were the Sigourney-Keota wrestlers able to soak in the feelings of wrestling in front of their home crowd one last time, they were able to celebrate three-straight victories.
The senior night festivities started off with the Cobras taking down HLV-TC 58-16.
Dawson Meyer started off the wins when he was able to pin his opponent early in the second period.
Dillion Menke wracked up the points in the first period before storming his way to a major decision 17-9 win in the 144-pound match.
Jayden Thompson would win the 190-pound match in the first period with a quick pin.
The wins kept coming as Brycen Horras pinned his 126-pound opponent with a pin in 1:36.
Gavin Khali won the 132-pound match with a second period pin.
Winners by forfeit against HLV were: Jacob Libe (157); Ashton Schwab (165); Jaen Kopp (175); Zach Guffey (215) and Owen Menke (285).
Against Moravia the Cobras were able to fight their way to a 53-25 victory.
Horras was the first Cobra to earn a win as he would start the 126-pound match with a lengthy battle. Early in the third period Horras was able to gain the pin.
In the 138-pound match Meyer would pin his opponent in the first period.
Dillion Menke wrestled in the 144-pound division and was able to earn a 19-3 tech fall.
Ashton Schwab would win the 165-pound match when he pinned his opponent with three seconds left in the first period.
Kopp needed just 22 seconds in the 175-pound match before he ended it with a pin. Thompson was able to pin his 190-pound opponent early in the second period.
Owen Menke was able to pin his heavyweight opponent in the early moments of the second period.
Winning by forfeit were: Brady Clark (150) and Zach Guffey (215).
In the third match of the night the Cobras were able to down Belle Plaine 48-33.
Horras was able to deliver a win in the 126-pound match as he needed just 26 seconds to earn the win.
Winners by forfeit were: Dawson Meyer (138); Dillion Menke (144); Jacob Libe (157); Kaen Kopp (175); Jayden Thompson (190); Zach Guffey (215) and Owen Menke (285).
