Pekin Participates in Moravia Invitational

MORAVIA—On September 26, the Pekin Panthers cross country teams made the trip to Moravia for the Moravia Invitational. The Pekin boys took home first with a score of 11, while the girls placed second with an aggregate score of 20.

The boys were led by Cole Millikin and Mason Dahlstrom, who placed first and second. Sam Hall and Brody Sobaski finished back to back in sixth and seventh. 

Dylan Sobaski placed 11th, while Connor Cloyd finished in 12th. The rest of the Panthers finished as follows: Hayden Miller-18th, Clayton Harvey-26th, Liam Guise-27th and Wyatt Brown-31st.

The Pekin girls were led by junior Chloe Glosser once again, as she breezed to a first place finish. 

The Panthers also had Abby Guise place fifth with Maddy Petrehn right behind her in sixth. 

Three more Panthers earned Top 15 finishes: Callie Deutschle-9th, Brinley Phillips-10th and Renae Eubanks-11th.
