Correction

In the story “Senator Dickey Wins Car Lien Lawsuit,” published in the Sept. 25 issue of the News-Review, the News-Review reported that Adrian Dickey was given the insurance money for his daughter’s car after it was totalled in 2020; in reality, Dickey was only given the insurance money after the lawsuit ended. We also referred to evidence as being revealed during the trial; in reality, the text messages in question were submitted during an earlier stage of the legal proceedings, and the case was dropped by the plaintiffs before it reached trial. Senator Dickey also denies that he ever referred to the car as a “No strings attached gift.” The News-Review apologizes for these errors.
