Athlete of the Week: Josephine Moore

The Athlete of the week for the week of Dec. 30 is Sigourney senior Josephine Moore. 

In Friday’s game against Lynnville-Sully Moore had one of her more successful games of the season as she was able to finish the game with 30 total points scored. 

Not only were her 30 points a team-high for the Savages she also outscored the top-two scorers from Lynnville-Sully combined. 

In addition to her 30 points, Moore was able to pull in 14 rebounds to complete the double-double. 

The News-Review would like to congratulate Moore for being named the Athlete of the Week and her outstanding week of play.
