The Athlete of the week for the week of Jan. 13 is Sigourney senior Josephine Moore.

During the week of play Moore was a consistent scorer for the Savages. She was able to total 41 points and 34 rebounds this week.

During a Jan. 17 game against HLV Moore pulled in 21 rebounds in the game. That included 12 offensive rebounds which sparked a 10-point win for the Savages.

For having two games with double-doubles Moore was named the Athlete of the Week, and the News-Review would like to congratulate her on her week of play.
